Privacy policy

This policy covers infiniumresearch.net and our consulting services. It is published by Infinium Research Inc., Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Each of our apps has its own privacy policy, linked from that app's page on this site.

What we collect

• Website visitors. Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and browser details to serve the site and protect it from abuse. We run no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies on this site.
• People who contact us. Your name, email address or WhatsApp number, and whatever you choose to tell us.
• Clients. When you accept our engagement agreement, we record your name, company, title, address, phone number and email, the person paying, the type of your government ID and its last four characters, and the IP address, country and date and time of acceptance. If we ask for a photo of your ID to verify a payment, you send it by email and we use it only for that check.
• Payments. Our payment provider processes your card. We receive the payment status, card brand and last four digits, never the full card number.

Why we use it

• To answer you, and to deliver and invoice the services you buy.
• To verify who is paying, and to prevent fraud and unauthorised card use.
• To keep a record of what was agreed and delivered, including as evidence if a payment is disputed.
• To meet our tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run our business: Cloudflare for hosting, Resend for email delivery, and our payment provider for card processing. If a payment is disputed, we give the card issuer and payment network the records described in our engagement agreement. We also disclose information when the law requires it.

Some of these providers process data outside Canada, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

Client and payment records are kept for six years after the engagement ends, as Canadian tax law requires. ID photos are deleted once the payment check is complete. Other enquiries are deleted within two years if they do not lead to an engagement.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted where we are not required to keep it. Email support@infiniumresearch.net and we reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. Records are held with our service providers under access controls, and we collect only the last four characters of an ID number, never the full number.

Changes

We will post any change here and update the date at the top.
