Help and contact for TidyDoc
Help with scanning, bulk extraction, compliance checks, and your TidyDoc Pro subscription.
We reply within two business days. Include your app version (Settings → About) and, if you're reporting a problem with a document, what type of document it was.
There are three routes, all from the Documents screen:
1. Scan — photograph a paper document with your camera. TidyDoc straightens and stores it.
2. Upload — pick existing files from your device.
3. Browse — pick a file from any cloud service you already have set up on your phone (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, OneDrive), through iOS's own file picker. TidyDoc never asks for or stores your cloud account credentials.
Open a document and choose Extract. TidyDoc reads the document and returns structured fields — client name, dates, amounts, document type, and anything else your template defines.
To define what gets pulled out, build an extraction template listing the fields you care about. Templates are reusable across every document of that type.
Select multiple documents in the Documents list, then apply an extraction template to the whole selection. TidyDoc processes them as a batch and writes the results back to each document, so you don't repeat the same extraction one file at a time.
Define a set of requirements — the clauses, fields, dates, or signatures a document must contain. TidyDoc checks each document against them and reports what is present, what is missing, and what needs attention. Results appear on the Compliance screen and roll up into Reports.
A separate area of your library locked behind Face ID or Touch ID. Documents you move there stay hidden from the main list until you unlock it. Your biometric data never leaves your device.
| Plan | Price | Billing |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | US$79.99 | Renews every month |
| Yearly | US$599.99 | Renews every 12 months — saves 37% |
Both plans unlock every feature. Prices in other regions are set by Apple's local equivalents.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so cancellation happens in your Apple Account, not in TidyDoc:
1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
3. Select TidyDoc, then Cancel Subscription.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date, or that period will be charged. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Tap Try Again on that screen to reload your plans, then Restore Purchases. This re-checks your purchase with Apple and reactivates your subscription.
If it still doesn't unlock, confirm you're signed in with the same Apple Account that made the purchase, then email us and we'll sort it out.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
TidyDoc needs camera permission. Open the Settings app → TidyDoc → turn on Camera. Then reopen the app.
Check that the extraction template matches the document type — a template built for invoices will not find lease terms. You can edit any extracted value by hand, and every change is kept in the document's version history.
Use the Export menu on the Documents screen, or Settings → Export All for a full backup. On iPhone and iPad this opens the share sheet so you can save straight to Files, AirDrop, Mail, or any cloud service you have installed.
No. TidyDoc has no accounts and no sign-in. Your library — documents, folders, versions and extracted data — is stored only on this device, in the app's own storage. There is nothing to sync, and nothing we could look up on your behalf even if you asked.
Settings → Your Data → Erase All Data. This permanently removes every document, folder, version and extracted field stored on this device. It cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.
Erasing your data does not cancel your subscription — cancel that separately in your Apple Account settings.
