US Lotto Signal keeps your data on your phone. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no photo uploads — this policy sets out what is stored, the one service that sees a purchase, and what you can do about it.

01 — What the app does with your data
Nothing US Lotto Signal knows about you leaves your iPhone. Your saved tickets, the numbers you generate, your settings, your location and the photographs you scan are all handled entirely on the device, in the app's own storage. The app has no accounts and no server of its own.

02 — Location
When you generate numbers, the app asks for your location so it can point you at lottery retailers near you rather than in another state. iOS shows you that request and you can decline it; the app still works without it.
> Your coordinates are never transmitted. The list of US metro areas and retail chains is bundled inside the app, so the "closest place to buy" is worked out entirely on your device. Nothing about where you are is sent to us or to anyone else.
Your most recent position is held in the app's on-device storage for up to 30 minutes so repeated generations don't re-prompt the GPS, then discarded. Revoking location access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services stops this immediately.
03 — Ticket photos
Scanning a printed ticket happens entirely on your iPhone. The app uses Apple's built-in Vision text-recognition engine, which runs locally on the device — the same technology that lets you select text in a photo.
> Your ticket photo is never uploaded. It is decoded in memory, read, and discarded. It is not written to our storage, not sent to any server, not seen by us, and not used to train anything — because it never leaves your phone in the first place.
What happens when you scan
- The camera captures the ticket and the image is resized in memory.
- Apple's on-device Vision engine reads the text and its positions.
- The app matches that text to the selected game's valid number ranges.
- Only the resulting numbers and draw date are saved, on your device.
Because recognition is local, scanning also works with no network connection at all.
04 — Tickets, numbers and settings you save
Saved tickets, your generation history, chosen language, text size, reminder settings and followed games are written to the app's own storage on your device. They are included in an encrypted iPhone or iCloud device backup if you make one, and are removed when you delete the app.
05 — Subscriptions and purchases
Premium plans are billed by Apple. We never see your card, and no payment details reach us or the app.
We use RevenueCat to check whether a purchase is active. It receives a randomly generated, app-specific identifier and your purchase and renewal status. It does not receive your name, email, location or anything you have saved in the app. Apple's own record of the transaction is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
This is the only third-party service the app contacts about you, and it is contacted only about purchases.
06 — No accounts
US Lotto Signal has no sign-in, no registration and no user accounts. There is no email address, password or profile to collect, store or leak. Every feature works the moment you open the app.
07 — Draw results
Past winning numbers are fetched from public open-data sources published by state lottery authorities. These requests carry no personal information — only which game you are looking at — and results are cached on your device so the app works offline.
08 — What we deliberately do not collect
- No analytics or tracking. No analytics SDK is bundled at all, and there is no server of ours for the app to report to.
- No advertising identifiers, and no data shared with data brokers or ad networks.
- No contacts, calendar, microphone, health or browsing data.
- No profile of you assembled across sources.
09 — Your choices and rights
- Location — decline the prompt, or revoke it later in iOS Settings.
- Camera and photos — decline, and enter numbers by hand instead.
- Notifications — turn reminders off in the app or in iOS Settings.
- Everything on device — deleting the app removes it all, permanently.
If you are in California, the EEA, the UK or another region with statutory data rights, you may ask us for a copy of any data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our processing it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell personal information, and we never have.
10 — Children
US Lotto Signal concerns lottery play and is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 to use it — 19 or 21 in some states. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete anything associated with them.
11 — Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above and note the change in the App Store release notes for the version that introduces it. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
